Taproot Assets

Taproot Assets को पहले Taro नाम से घोषित किया गया था और यह asset commitments के लिए Taproot output को Bitcoin anchor बनाता है। Asset के पूरे rules और witness data Bitcoin global state नहीं हैं; protocol participants उन्हें खुद रखते और verify करते हैं। [1]

Issuance एक minting transaction बनाती है और उसके द्वारा spend किया outpoint genesis point तथा unique identity का हिस्सा बनता है। Transfer में पुराने witness को एक या अधिक Taproot outputs में recommit करके जरूरी proof recipient को दिया जाता है। [2]

Sparse Merkle Tree एक output में asset branches के selective proofs देती और Merkle-Sum Tree quantity conservation जाँचती है। एक Bitcoin UTXO कई assets पर commit कर सकता है जबकि full node उनके नाम, balances या transfer rules नहीं जानता। [1]

Recipient, genesis output से lineage को Bitcoin transactions के विरुद्ध verify करता है। Universe proofs और metadata index व distribute कर सकता है, मगर invalid asset को valid नहीं बनाता; client दूसरे Universe या अपने store से तुलना कर सकता है। [1]

Taproot Assets address में asset ID या group key, amount, keys और proof delivery information होती है। Group key ऐसे group को दिखा सकती है जिसमें issuer आगे issuance जोड़े, इसलिए fixed या expandable supply को specific asset के लिए जाँचना चाहिए। [3]

Public tapd implementation mainnet और current v0.8.4 series support करती है, लेकिन repository अभी भी इसे alpha software कहती है। Commands या mainnet switch अपने आप complete backups, compatibility या production safety की guarantee नहीं हैं। [5]

Recovery को Bitcoin seed से अधिक चाहिए: tapd anchor output सुरक्षित spend करने और asset history साबित करने के लिए tweak तथा client data रखता है। Database या proofs खोने से asset access नष्ट और कुछ setups में उसी output के BTC भी खतरे में पड़ सकते हैं। [2]

नाम, ticker और free-form metadata economic trustworthiness साबित नहीं करते। स्वीकार करने से पहले asset ID या group key, genesis, पूरा proof, supply rules, issuer control, anchor transaction status और exact client version verify करें। [4]
