Stackuj was a predominantly Czech-language podcast in which Josef Tětek interviewed guests about Bitcoin and their wider lives. The completed series has 100 episodes, available as audio or on YouTube. You need not start at episode one: choosing a question that interests you is often a better way in.
Suppose you broadly know what Bitcoin is but struggle to picture its use beyond a price chart. How does a Bitcoin ATM work? What must a merchant arrange to accept a payment? Why would Bitcoin interest someone who spends most of the day on a farm? Stackuj explores questions like these through conversation. Josef Tětek invites guests to describe their work and how they came to Bitcoin, giving an Atlas concept the context of someone’s lived experience. [1] [15]
Stackuj was created by economist and author Josef Tětek. The audio archive dates its first episode to 15 May 2021. His guest was Karel Kyovský, founder of Bitcoin ATM manufacturer General Bytes. The conversation began with a business and real machines rather than a price forecast. Over the following years, a recurring question was what greater control over one’s money actually means. Tětek’s emphasis on personal freedom helps explain both his choice of subjects and his questions. [1] [15]
You can watch the video on YouTube or listen in a podcast app while travelling or walking. An app usually draws on RSS, a public list containing episode titles, dates and audio files. RSS is therefore not a separate show. Nor does the same interview appearing on several platforms provide several independent confirmations of its claims. Use the episode number, guest’s name and description to find your way; timestamps help locate particular topics in longer conversations. [2] [3] [15]
Two episodes illustrate the range. In SP75, developer Pepa Kříž discussed Qerko and Bitcoin payments, bringing the practical workings of payments into a subject that can otherwise feel abstract. SP92 featured Honza Čopák, author of the then forthcoming book Matematika Bitcoinu. A wallet is an application or device for receiving and sending bitcoin. Topics ranged from the private key—the secret information a wallet uses to prove permission to spend—to quantum computers, which use quantum physics in their calculations, and, eventually, diving. Such detours reveal guests as people with interests of their own, not simply sources of expert opinions. [15] [16] [18] [19]
Choose one question you want to understand, such as payments or self-custody. Self-custody means that you hold the means of controlling your bitcoin rather than leaving them with an account provider. You do not need to understand every abbreviation on the first listen. Note an unfamiliar term and return to it in the Atlas. Also distinguish a guest’s experience from a general rule: a method working for one person does not make it right for everyone. An interview helps you ask questions; it does not make the decision for you. [15]
When checked on 17 October 2026, the RSS archive contained 100 items, running from SP01 to SP100. The final episode, published on 5 June 2026, features farmers from Ekofarma Arnultovice and the Biomasíčko project. They discuss daily farm life and how they became interested in Bitcoin. The hundred refers to episodes in this series, not necessarily every associated video, clip or social post. There is no required listening order: interviews stand on their own, and their descriptions help you choose the next one. [15]
Episode descriptions also contain sponsors, discount codes and sometimes affiliate links that may earn the creator a commission. This support helps fund the show, but it is useful to separate it from the explanation itself. A product mentioned in an interview you enjoy deserves the same scrutiny as any other. Offers, prices and conditions in an old episode may also have changed substantially. An archive alone cannot tell you whether an offer remains available today. [15]
Some interviews were recorded before an audience as Stackuj Live. Josef Tětek announced the final event for 10 December 2025 in Prague’s Karlín district, with Kicom and Bratříček; the audio recording, SP90, was released on 22 December. The event date and publication date therefore mean different things. The show also overlapped with communities around events such as ChainCamp. These connections help make the local scene familiar: someone you hear on a podcast may later appear at a conference or lead you to their own writing. [4] [12] [15]
Episode 100 was not simply the point at which uploads happened to stop. In 2025, the creator was already publicly describing a plan to finish after 100 interviews. Early in 2026, he still allowed for a long break rather than promising another series. SP100 then completed the planned hundred. It is therefore more accurate to describe a finished 2021–2026 series than to promise regularly arriving episodes. Any continuation would need a new announcement from the creator. [4] [16] [15]
As of October 2026, Josef Tětek’s website describes running the podcast in the past tense. It still offers his books and the Bitcoinový Občasník email newsletter, which followed the earlier updates surrounding the show. That continues the author’s work without automatically constituting a new Stackuj series. If an interview catches your interest, the guest’s original project or an explanation of a related concept makes a useful next stop.
