ChainCamp is a conference brand, not the Bitcoin protocol or an umbrella body for the whole community. The organiser's gallery documents separate editions in 2023 and 2024. Before the 2024 event Martin Kuchař announced the close of a five-year era and media called it the last edition; this described the plan at that time, not the brand's actual end. The sixth edition took place on 20 September 2025 at Aula VŠB in Ostrava-Poruba under a new organising team. A report counted more than 800 visitors and named Jaroslav “Péťa” Petr as organiser; this estimate is not an independent audit either. The current site calls ChainCamp 2026 its seventh edition and dates it for 11–12 September at Aula VŠB. Friday's PLAN B programme uses three parallel rooms and broader personal-sovereignty topics, while Saturday is presented as Bitcoin-only; future programme and ticket availability can change. Today's ChainCamp primarily serves the Czech and Slovak BTC community with material for beginners and advanced users. Older recordings also cover cryptocurrencies, trading and libertarian themes, so the current Bitcoin-only label should not be projected unqualified onto every past edition. Main-stage talks and panels are recorded, and the official YouTube archive separates editions from 2020 through 2025. ChainCamp sells Basic, Premium and VIP tickets in crowns and Bitcoin via Lightning and uses partners, booths and merchandise. A community atmosphere does not make it free, nonprofit or non-commercial; prices and bundles belong only to the named edition. ChainCamp's founders later created the international BTC Prague, but it was not a renaming of the same conference. Ostrava's ChainCamp is mainly a Czech–Slovak community format; BTC Prague is a separate, English-language Prague conference and expo with a different legal organiser and scale.
