Trezor Academy combines in-person education with public study resources and community support. Official pages describe the programme's content and aims, not independent measurement of its long-term outcomes. Course attendance alone establishes neither wallet security nor regular Bitcoin use by a graduate.
Trezor's press release of 27.2.2024 states that the Academy launched in 2023 and had operated in six African countries. It presents expansion to another 20 countries and 40 programmes for 2024 as a plan. A date and future commitment must not be mistaken for evidence that every programme actually happened. Trezor's article of 25.6.2026 reports 32 countries, over 100 programmes, 8 languages, more than 2500 graduates and over 1000 books distributed. The donation page uses, among other figures, over 300 meetups. One programme may contain several meetups, so these are different units. They are project-reported figures; without methodology they do not establish unique people, knowledge levels or lasting adoption and must not be mechanically added together. The release of 27.2.2024 describes a pledge of 21 EUR from each sale of the limited bitcoin-only Trezor Safe 3 edition to education. It also mentions support for the Bitcoineta vehicle with Bitcoin Cowries in West Africa. This dated pledge is neither confirmation of accounting settlement nor an ongoing rule for all Trezor models. The donation page explicitly distinguishes a non-profit initiative from a registered non-profit organization, stating that Trezor Academy is not registered as the latter. Its subject includes outcomes, challenges and plans for 2026. The conference programme establishes the published listing and stated role, not the entire presentation's content or verification of every outcome.
